liliha bakery is what you see is what you get. it's not fancy...it's not the best food in the world...it's a good local place to have a good (if not healthy) breakfast or lunch at a tightly packed counter served by friendly women in hairnets for a pretty good price. that said, i recommend it every time my friends or family come to visit from california and they always say: "good suggestion!"
Ya gotta love the "classics" of Hawaii. My dad used to take me here for breakfast when I was younger. Our favorite was watching the cool, calm and collected chef go at his own pace, while everyone else around him was frantic and stressed out. Hilarious!
liliha bakery's coco puffs are delicious! XD
Sold to the owners of Yummy's Korean Restaraunts!! I hope Liliha Bakery does NOT change at all.
Yeah, I heard about that. If there were smart, they bettah not touch/change a thing! :)
Amen to the cocoa puffs. Whenever my daughter comes home to visit, she's always has to stop there for a few boxes of them lol
Smart daughter Kaualani! :)
its been a long while since i had some fresh cream puffs from this place. i sometimes envy my family, since they only live a few blocks away from the bakery. dine-in breakfast items are great, the pastries are awsome, and service is superb. i advise anyone going to oahu for the first time to make liliha bakery one of there stops.
I agree jaysavestheday. The breakfast items are great. The lines are worth the wait!
I am a big fan of Liliha Bakery goodies but the only issue I have is the waiting time! I called to order a birthday cake and was put on hold to the point where they disconnected me and I had to call back again! I hope they can keep on top of their customer service or at least acknowledge when they forget whose waiting to get to their great pastries and cakes.
