I just LOVE Online Aloha! I look forward to the begining of every month so I can read your comic. This month's was especially good since it had so many frames, so the "FUNNY" lasted even longer. I can soooo relate to this one! As probably a lot of other people in all of America at this very moment, but even better, with the "Local" twist! TOO FUNNY! Thanx 4 da Laffs & smiles month after month! P.S. I'LL BE IN THE CAR. . .

Aloha, All... Hope your X-mas shopping is going well. I'm not one of those fortunate people who finished all their shopping by Thanksgiving so I'll be standing in line with the rest of you... re: Kalakrayon - Thanks for the props. I came up this idea while actually standing in line at Toys R Us one Sunday morning. I thought the store opened at 8:00am and was going to buy some Wii games for gifts (It was BOGO 50% off), but saw a huge line and they were handing out vouchers for something like 150 Wiis that morning. So I figured - hey... since I'm here...

re: Kitsuneko - Ha! For those people scratching your heads trying to understand what she's saying, MMPR= Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. Too funny! I actually was cleaning up and found some old Robocon figures and a Voltron still in the box. Thanks for writing... -j

This is so hella funny, this happen to ME just recently... I was in LA for a family vacation to spend time with my in-law’s, they had the Wii system, this was the first time to try it and loved the Wii Sports LOL Bowling!! I'm a pro bowler on the Wii system, not in real life btw lol.. anywho my father-in-law said he will get one for us for Christmas gift to us, he gave us the money and we had to go out and buy one, well anyways the day after Thanksgiving we went out to look for them and I tell you none of the 10+ stores didn't have them, they were all sold out, so anyways we looked online and they cost so much, later that week we flew down to Las Vegas to finish our Vacation up, we found a GameStop store and I asked the sales person to see if they had any in stock, gosh by luck they sold out that same day they had them in the morning time. :( LOL what luck uh? anyways taking the flight back to Hawaii, I called several GameStop stores and Toy's n Joy's to see if they got them in and they either ran out or not sure when they got them in. We flew back on Dec 4th the flight got delayed for a few hours but we finally made it back to Hawaii on Dec 4th/5th Midnight lol what luck made it before the big storm hit Hawaii, well the heavy rains, anyways the day after we got back, I asked the Mrs. to see if would like to take a ride down to Waikele GameStop, so we did and wanted to see if they got them, that's the only GameStop I didn't call, anyways I asked the sales person if they got the Wii system and he said in a low voice that we are in luck LOL, full of excitement and jumping for joy, well not so obvious want to attract attention, when I got the shopping bag in my hand we left and screamed that we finally got it LOL!!!!! Sorry had to share lol, this story reminds me of my wife and I looking for Wii lol

Aloha, Koloheboy... Funny how after a year of release, how difficult it is to find the Wii's still yet, huh? Glad you finally got one... (I'm not even gonna go through the ordeal I went to get mine...) Ha! Now you need to go to the links above to the right of my strip and go to the MARCH 2007 comics for another strip about the Wii. Thanks for sharing your story and best wishes for the holidays! -jon j.

That is exactly what is going on this Christmas. I refuse to do it. Yes, the Wii is on the Christmas List. I told the kidz to have an alternate choice just in case Santa is unable to fulfill their first choice. And its worked out just great. Tis the Season to be Jolly. Happy Holidays.
