Hi, gang! Thanks for being so patient! I've been slaving away at this strip for a couple of months, but I'm very pleased how it came out! Hope you get a chuckle or two from it! - Aloha! - Jon J.

Wah! Worth the wait on this one! Glad you had a good time up there, Murakami-sensei!!! But, whoa, that crocheted Wonder Woman costume must've been supa-itchy...!!!

Yeah, I took pictures of all of those costumes listed above EXCEPT the wonder woman AND the heavy-set Kasumi that when she turned around, had an image of a panda on her panties. BRRRRRRRR... I know I'm not the skinniest guy in the world, but that's why I don't dress in these costumes - Yikes! I think if you hunt at FLICKR.com, you could probably find more images of the aforementioned - i couldn't recently otherwise I'd include a link to them. It could be they pulled the images off. ALL those costumes were incredible! Makes me wonder how much people spend on these things! Thanks for writing - jon j.

Yeah Applebee's WILL never be the same. Readers, you should see what Gen did in there! I didn't KNOW beer, Tequila, and a margarita constitute a three course meal! And the waiter's pants! Man! That's going to leave a mark! - - - No! I'm kidding! Gen, Derek, & I had a lovely time there with fellow local artist from Crazy Shirts, Kevin Sano. Of course this was the first time I went to Applebee's so I was pretty excited. Then we go outside and Gen & Derek tell us about the gunfire robbery that happened last week at the mall outside... Lovely. Thanks, Gen for the props and glad to see you're writing again! Talk to you soon! - jon j.

Hey...did you take any of your Gordon Rider hats up there? How'd those do? Doc wants to know!

Hey, Lori... I didn't take up too many hats with me (about 8) because I didn't ship anything up (It was ALL last minute) so I had to cram everything in my suitcase - we're talking comics, books, EVERYTHING! The hats were pretty slow. People had no idea what they were and I think the only people who bought them were the transplants from Hawaii who remembered Kamen Rider. One guy actually said that it looked like a hat similar to one that Sumo Yokozuna Konishiki wears! I gave some away to my close friends including Gen & Derek who never knew the hats existed! Aside from that, I have only a few more left. You can purchase them at local model & toy shop MECHAHAWAII. Thanks for asking and writing! - Jon J.

Hey Jon! AWESOME STRIP! Dude! YOU TOTALLY CAPTURED THE FEEL and EXCITEMENT of COMIC CON 2008!!! Reading it brought back so many wonderful and fun memories! For me, I think it's even more funny to see all those things (many which I saw there) animated in your style! Seeing your Wonder Woman bag cracked me up! I wanted one so bad! Did you score one? It was also so fun and amazing to see myself immortalized in your strip with Gen and Derek! What a thrilling surprise that was! Legendary local artist put me in his strip! WOW! I'm so stoked! THANKS!!! It was so great getting to see you there too! :) I wonder how many other Hawaii people flew up for Comic Con this year? ALOHA! Or it might be better if I said..."KAPLAH!" Aaron Yamasato

Hey, Aaron... Sorry it took so long to write back. Been really busy lately. As always, it was great to see you. I indeed get a Wonder Woman bag. Fortunately Kevin Sano got one for me. I think he took the Smallville one... How I wish I had a better picture of you so your caricature would look more accurate - HA! Quite a bit of Hawaii people went up there. I ran into at LEAST 20! Talk to you soon and you probably seen that Ni Hao Kai-Lan is now on DVD! - Thanks for writing - Jon J.
