Geez, Nishi... The ink for the printers are getting so expensive!

Yeah, I know, Mei... But I think I figured out how to get around that...

Lately, I've been converting everything to black & white, instead of RGB, or CMYK. I figure it will only print using the black cartridge instead of using the other colored ink cartridges... right?

*BDEET*

MAGENTA?!! How can I be out of magenta ink?!! I printed in black and white you @*# printer!!!

Hey! You got one of those printers where you hafta change the whole color ink cartridge...

Seriously - true story... There were several times I was running low on ink, but the black ink bar was full. I felt I was only going to print in black and white, so it shouldn't be a problem -I even got to the point where I converted everything to black and white. Nevertheless the Magenta ink still ran out. So I guess even though I was printing "black and white" it was still printing from the other color inks as well... It's still a mystery to me... :P

i wonder if it has anything to do with "black is the new pink." i keep hearing about this. well whatevers, i can't relate to this. i never run out of magenta. i always run out of cyan or yellow. my printed skin tones all come out looking like barney the dinosaur. you know, you can always go back to coloring your cartoons with those alcohol pens that cost a fortune.
