HELP ME WITH RATINGS

Aloha, gang! Jon J. here…

…After shelving it for almost 2 years, I figure it’s time for me to try to use the Wacom Tablet to draw my cartoons on the computer!...

So essentially everything is replaced by technology…

What are you talking about?

Magazines and newspapers can be read online via the internet…

Comic books can be viewed on to your iPad…

Music can be downloaded and put onto your phone…

Cell phones can shoot high quality photos and movies…

But can it really replace the actual sensation?...

You can play board games like Battleship, Uno & Monopoly electronically…

You can read a piece of literature on an e-book reader than an actual book…

You can exercise virtually on the Wii? Is it the same as taking a jog?...

It’s sort of like you don’t have to leave home anymore to see the sites on a vacation, or watch a live concert…

…Just watch a video of it on YouTube…

There are just some things you can’t replace…

Well… I think we all know the moral here, right?...

…”Why fix something if it isn’t broken?”

My first technology joke in a while. True story of how I bought myself a Wacom™ Tablet because several of my peers pressured me into getting one claiming that most illustrators and cartoonists use this nowadays. I jumped on the bandwagon and failed miserably, so I was a bit disgruntled and shelved it for a while. I was really inspired watching my niece use her Bamboo™ drawing tablet and gave it another try. Fortunately MANY people have given me pointers and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I was trying to make a point with this strip but the drawings ended up a little TOO clean. So I drew and colored the way I struggled with the last 2 years and successfully came up with the strip here. Savor the joke :) - lol
