Music choice does not work since you imposed the new Web site format. What needs to be done to make it work. I am a paying Oceanic TW customer.
Yeah! Why isn't there any explanation? I noticed that you can change the feeds above to run as a streaming feed in WMP. However, this means that you have to know the exact spelling of the feed. For example, mms://sirens.rr.com/hit_list gives you the hit list. If you want hits of the 70s, you have to enter aomething ele but I'm not sure exactly what. Why isn't there a list of ALL the feeds?
Sorry gang. Other than the Hawaiian music choice, all others streams are now pointing to the Road Runner national product called Road Runner Radio. To access all 50+ streams, go to http://www.rr.com/radio from a Road Runner Hawaii connected computer. Good luck!
I get no sound from Road Runner Radio. How do I get the sound on?
Hi CANDMPAN. You have to be on a Road Runner connection in order to access Road Runner Radio.
I do have a RR connection; access http://www.rr.com/radio; enter UN and PW; granted access ... still no sound from RR Radio; What gives?
Sam
I am unable to connect to server for the streaming Hawaiian music. This is most likely a restriction in my firewall. What protocols / ports do I need to open up to get the streaming Hawaiian music?
Mahalo
You will be excited to learn that we are VERY close to launching the Hawaiian Music Choice channel in Flash. Stay tuned!
Well... it's been 4 months and I still can't get streaming Hawaiian music... any idea when this will happen?
Hi harryz. Sorry for the downtime. There was some confusion with the maintenance of the original server, but we are working on a much improved solution that should be up shortly. Mahalo for your patience!
Hmmm, bottom line, this service is a waste of resources, giving that you can only listen while connected to a system whose IP is controlled by TW/RR. I would like to listen somewhere else, like say on my computer at work, but nope, wrong IP. Or how about while I am overseas doing work but have access to high-speed internet, nope, wrong IP. Strongly suggest TW/RR look at the authentication policy and make changes so that users can access tools and services from places other than their home, especially since we have become a mobile community.
Aloha Gimple. Unfortunately, the policy reaches far beyond TW/RR, but to music rights, etc. Mahalo for your understanding, but continued support.
