Just in time for Father's Day: Aloha Tower Marketplace will host the Road Runner Build the Track! Motorsports Show on Saturday, June 20, from 10am to 5pm. Hawaii's fastest Internet service provider will provide car enthusiasts and online aficionados alike the chance to see a 1969 Road Runner, one of the ultimate muscle cars of all time, as well as the opportunity to enter to win six months of Road Runner high speed online for free. The show is also brought to you by Firestone Complete Auto Care. Build the Track! is Aloha Tower Marketplace's biggest motorsports show, and admission is FREE.


Build the Track! will present over 140+ custom, classic, and modified vehicles exhibiting the passion of our island's motorsport and automotive enthusiasts. The event showcase will represent everything from racing to off-road to strip and street and will include cars, trucks, bikes and more. The vehicles will be parked on the Boat Days Promenade in front of Aloha Tower, throughout the Marketplace, and in Pier 11 overlooking the water. This show is promoted as a family-friendly event with a wide variety of free entertainment activities including R/C exhibitions, keiki bouncers, face-painting, carnival games, video game tournaments, as well as live music from The Gregg Hammer Band.

This annual show is promoted by the Oahu Motorsports Advisory Council in order to garner support for building a new motorsports facility on Oahu.  The primary focus of this year's show is on the work-in-progress Kalaeloa Raceway Park being developed by Save Oahu's Race Tracks, LLC (SORT). OMAC's chairman, Michael Kitchens, stresses the need for a safe and legal venue to continue the education of our youth and the pursuit of our automotive passions.
