The Kawaiahao Church was the first church on the island of Oahu. It was the mother church for all the missionaries that came here in 1820 and later. It is located on the corner of King and Punchbowl Street in downtown Honolulu.

Lifeguards in Hawaii were made famous from the TV series Baywatch. Even though so many people say that Baywatch was the worst TV series of all, I know that all of you have seen at least one episode.

Everything from family luau to canoe races to romantic dates happens on this little outcropping of land. It's actually a peninsula at the end of the much larger Ala Moana Beach Park.

Tourists visit this place to watch the sun set, jog or walk the shoreline, or take pictures of the gorgeous scenery. Locals swim, play football or Frisbee on sunny afternoons.

Festivals often take place here, and occasionally, dramatic troupes stage outdoor plays or concerts.

The Aloha Tower is a lighthouse that is considered one of the premier landmarks of the state of Hawaii. Opened on September 11, 1926, the Aloha Tower is located at Pier 9 of Honolulu Harbor. It has and continues to be a guiding beacon welcoming vessels to the City & County of Honolulu. At 10 stories and 184 feet (56 m) of height topped with 40 feet (12 m) of flag mast, for four decades the Aloha Tower was the tallest structure in Hawaii. It was built in Hawaiian gothic architecture.

Built in Scotland in 1978, this four-masted square-rigger carried passenger, general cargo, sugar and oil until 1920. Falls of Clyde, which flew the Hawaiian flag from 1898 to 1920, is being restored as a maritime extension of the Bishop Museum. Falls of Clyde is listed in the National Register of Historic Places at a National level of significance.
