Grampians National Park
The Grampians is a mountain range and national park in Victoria (Australia), 235 kilometers west of Melbourne. The Grampians feature a striking series of sandstone mountain ranges. The ranges were named in 1836 by Surveyor General of New South Wales Sir Thomas Mitchell after the Grampian Mountains in his native Scotland, but are also known by the name Gariwerd, from one of the local Australian Aboriginal languages. After a two-year consultation process, the park was renamed Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park in 1991, however this controversial formality was reversed after a change of state government in 1992. Aboriginal occupation of the Grampians dates back beyond 5000 years and the area contains the majority of Aboriginal rock art sites in south-east Australia.

Great Ocean Road
The spectacular Great Ocean Road is one of the world's most breath-taking holiday and travel experiences, stretching more than 400 kilometers. The 12 Apostles are these giant rock stacks are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National Park. The forces of nature gradually eroded the softer limestone, forming caves in the cliffs which became arches and when they collapsed, rock islands as high as 45 meters were left isolated from the shore.

The Split Point Lighthouse
Originally called Eagles Nest Point, the lighthouse was built in 1891. The original light source was vaporized kerosene. When it was taken over by the Commonwealth Government in 1919 the light was converted to acetylene and automated. Conversion to mains electricity took place in 1972. The 'White Queen' as she is affectionately known is a welcome sight for ships that have rounded Cape Otway. Overlooking Eagle Rock the lighthouse is not only a beacon to seafarers but also to travelers on the Great Ocean Road.

Victorian Arts Centre
The Arts Centre, is Melbourne's main arts, music and theatre complex. There are two main buildings, as one of the buildings has a spire that towers 162 meters and is lit up at night. In the second building is the Hamer Hall (previously Melbourne Concert Hall).

Queen Victoria Gardens are a part of Domain Parklands and are just a short walk from the CBD and Arts precinct. Highlights include sculptures and monuments, plus the famous Floral Clock facing the National Gallery of Victoria. The area was used during the gold rush of the mid-1880s as a place to house new immigrants in hostels and campsites. It was also the site of the early police barracks.
