Puaeka rated top 7th Course in Hawaii! - Golf Week Magazine 2008 Puakea Golf Course, Kaua'i, a one-time sugar plantation, is the newest addition to Kaua’I’s golf extravaganza. For seven years it played as a 10-hole layout, the final eight holes were completed in 2003.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Kiahuna features some of the finest greens in Hawaii and the only ones on Kauai with Sea Shore Paspalum turf on them. Kiahuna opened for play in 1984, and was Poipu Beach’s first resort golf course. | | Since then it has undergone a change in ownership and a major refurbishment. The result is one of the best public access golf courses. Layout includes ancient remnants of an authentic Hawaiian village, a abandoned Portuguese dwelling, and a cave system that's home to the rare and endangered Koloa Blind Wolf Cave Spider. |

Course Home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994 - 2006. Poipu Bay Golf Course played host to the annual PGA Grand Slam of Golf, one of the most prestigious competitions in the golf world. The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is a 36-hole stroke-play event conducted over two days, with the four players vying for a purse of well over a million dollars.

The course is in Kukuiolono Park,..In fact, you'll see McBryde's grave on the course, along with some other oddities like wild chickens,

Wailua Golf Course was first built as a 9-hole golf course in the 1930’s.
