Kimo Akane
Like most Hawaii residents, Kimo has been going to Vegas since his 21st birthday. Born & and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Kimo moved to the mainland for a couple of years after graduating from high school, then moved back home to live and have a family. As his children grew older and more self sufficient his interest in Las Vegas grew. The Internet fueled his passion for information about the city that never sleeps. Web sites filled with information about the different games, comp systems, hotel ratings, show reviews, events, shopping and eating were plentiful. He started doing a talk radio show about Las Vegas in January that has become the perfect vehicle to stay in touch with expatriates and some of the city's movers and shakers. The show airs Thursday at 9:00am and Friday at 6:30pm on KKEA 1420AM.
