Starwood is donating to Kapi‘olani a portion of the proceeds from every package from its Endless Summer Escape campaign sold in Hawaii or on the Mainland. Starwood is also contributing 200,000 Starwood Preferred Guest Starpoints as a grand prize in support of the Kapi‘olani Story Project, a historical archive being compiled this summer as part of the hospital’s centennial.
Starwood Preferred Guest, with over 47 million members, was the first loyalty program in the hotel industry that that did not include blackout dates. Families who have been touched by Kapi`olani and its predecessor, Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital, are invited to post their story at www.KapiolaniStoryProject.org, making them automatically eligible to win.
