About Me:
My passion is Hawaii and photography. I lived on Oahu 5 years. I left in 2002 but return about 2 times a year. I shoot weddings in Charleston, SC which is one of the top destination wedding spots in the country. I tell (almost) everyone about Hawaii and the music. I come back normally for the Hawaii Music Awards and the Hokus. I love to shoot the musicians (normally for free) so I can help promote them via Aloha Joe magazine, AlohaMele.com and other website that help to promote Hawaii in a positive light. I am a huge Danny Couch fan... I joke my theme song is his song: "I LOVE HAWAII" and it's the song "THESE ISLANDS" that a NUMBER of my Hawaiian Photos were inspired by. My other passions of Hawaii are the sea turtles. I love the landscapes from Waikiki to the ocean waves. No kids for me... just a pet duck... I think I was the first person to move FROM Hawaii taking a DUCK from the islands!! He died 2 weeks later... Now I have a female duck who loves to listen to Hawaiian music, wears diapers and hangs out with me in the house... I am a strange bird I know... But isn't that what makes the world go round??? (OK that and great music!)
