Stan Ehara is the creator of www.akueats.com, a combination restaurant guide/food blog listing over 600 different Oahu restaurants. In addition to being a regular contributor for the national website www.dineandcook.com, Stan has been a guest food reviewer on KGMB TV's Sunrise morning program as well as the Honolulu Advertiser's popular TGIF food/entertainment insert. His recently published book, Island Flavors, is the most comprehensive Oahu restaurant book on the market today, covering over 500 different eateries while also explaining the various major food types found on the island.

Born, raised, and still currently residing in East Honolulu, Stan enjoys time with his wife, outdoor activities of any kind, reading, writing, traveling, and, of course, exploring everything there is to know about food!
