Claus Hansen
Claus Hansen knows all about carpe diem versus the tragedy of not living long enough to seize the day. Mortality is in his face every day at his business, Moanalua Mortuary. It's inspired him to truly live life to the fullest. The collegiate Olympic-hopeful and former UH Manoa swimming coach spends his free time training for triathlons, studying Japanese jujitsu (Dan Zan Ryu), learning aerobatic stunts on a private plane, or snow skiing. He and his wife's favorite hobby is planning for their next trip - unrealistic as that may seem now, since they're busy parents of a little girl!
