HELP ME WITH RATINGS
You've heard of the 12 Days of Christmas - well, how about the 99 Ways to Love Your UH Warriors (give or take a few)?  Let me count the ways as we approach Hawaii's January 1st Sugar Bowl date in New Orleans:

99 - The year June Jones came to Hawaii to start the most incredible turnaround in college football.
92 - The last year the `Bows went to the Mainland and won a bowl game.
86 - What UH did to every single opponent this year - "we 86'd `em".  Also, Jason Rivers number, one of the top receivers in all of college football.
66 - Points we laid on overmatched DIAA opponent Charleston Southern.
63 - Points we laid on another overmatched DIAA opponent Northern Colorado.
53 - Blaze Soares number and the last digits opposing ballcarriers see before Soares' levels them.
52 - Big number against WAC opponent Utah State.
50 - The number of the state with the only undefeated DI football team in America - Hawaii 5-0.
49 - The amount of states with NO undefeated DI teams.
48 - Point total against Idaho in 48-20 victory.
45 - One of scariest games of the year, a 45-44 overtime thriller on the road at La Tech.
44 - Adam Leonard's number, the tough-as-nails linebacker who was our co-leader in interceptions and second on team in tackles.
42 - Another scary overtime road thriller, 42-35 over San Jose State.
39 - Point total in huge victory over 18th-ranked and defending WAC Champion Boise State.
37 - Points we scored against tough WAC rival Fresno State.
35 - Point we absolutely needed to comeback and beat Washington in season finale to finish undefeated.
21 - How many points we were down against Washington before miraculous comeback.
17 - Solomon Elemimian's number, the leading tackler for the tough UH defense.
15 - Colt Brennan's number, a number that should be retired for all time.
13 - Our lucky 13th victory comes New Year's Day.  Also, the number of games we've won in a row - the longest current winning streak in the nation.
12 - The number of wins UH achieved in its perfect 2007 season.
11 - Field Goals that Dan Kelly hit this year, including game-winner in final seconds against Nevada.
10 - Our current ranking in the BCS.
9 - How many players who scored at least three touchdowns for Hawaii this year.
8 - The all-time record for touchdown passes in a game set by Nick Rolovich, a mark that record-smashing quarterback Colt Brennan would love to tie against Georgia.
7 - Nothing better than a lucky seven, especially when it's worn by all-american receiver Davone Bess.
6 - What we did to all our opponents this year - as in "we deep-sixed `em!" (Also, Tyler Graunke's number, the back-up QB who came through on national television at Nevada.)
5 - Number of times June Jones had sent the Warriors to a non-BCS bowl game before this year.
4 - The number of fourth quarter comebacks we had this year.
3 - Colt Brennan's place in the Heisman Trophy balloting; the first player from Hawaii ever invited to the Heisman ceremony in New York.
2 - The number of sellouts this year at Aloha Stadium.
1 - The day of all days, New Year's Day, the day we hope to beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, and the day we hope to remain the ONLY UNDEFEATED TEAM IN AMERICA!
