Macintosh Internet Explorer 4.5 Settings for Proxy Server
From Internet Explorer 4.5, go to the Edit Menu and select Preferences.
Double Click on Network on the left hand side and click on Proxies from the drop down menu. You will then see a window like the one below.
On the right hand side, click on the Web Proxy checkbox and type in proxy-server.hawaii.rr.com as illustrated above.
IMPORTANT: Also, enter ams-server.hawaii.rr.com and update-server.hawaii.rr.com (as of January 2000, this setting should now have the fully qualified domain "hawaii.rr.com" ) as illustrated below separated by a space or comma. You may need to add other Proxy Server exceptions as needed.
Also, click on the Settings... button next to Web Proxy and be sure that you see the following information:
Click on the OK button to set your adjusted settings. Then, click OK again to return to your browser (a browser restart may be necessary to reflect your new settings).
