From Internet Explorer 4.0, go to the Edit Menu and select Preferences.
Double Click on Network on the left hand side and click on Proxies from the drop down menu. You will then see a window like the one below.
On the right hand side, enable the Proxy server by selecting the button called Enabled. (select the Disabled button if you want to turn OFF the Proxy Server). Choose the All option from the pull-down menu next to Protocol. Choose the Normal option from the pull-down menu next to Method. Next to Address, type in proxy-server.hawaii.rr.com and (port) 8080 as illustrated below.
IMPORTANT: Also, enter ams-server.hawaii.rr.com (as of January 2000, this setting should now have the fully qualified domain "hawaii.rr.com" ) and update-server as illustrated below separated by a comma. You may need to add other Proxy Server exceptions as needed.
Click on the OK button to set your adjusted settings (a browser restart may be necessary to reflect your new settings).
