Setting Up RR POP Access for Others

Setting Up the External (POP) Mail Server
for Other Programs.

Note: The External Mail Server address was updated in January 2000. Please make the necessary adjustments below!

To set up your mail program to receive your Road Runner mail, add the setting:

pop-server.hawaii.rr.com

wherever it asks for a POP server (receiving mail) address. To be able to send mail, keep the default SMTP server (sending mail) address of the Internet provider you are using.

While setting up individual e-mail programs will vary, to see examples of an External Mail Server setup, take a look at these sample screen shots of Internet Mail or Outlook Express.
