What are User Account Options?
This section will teach you how to use the User Account Options area of Road Runner Hawaii. User Account Options are a series of web pages where you can change your account password, create or delete Sub E-Mail Users, view your modem information, and otherwise manage your Road Runner account directly from your web browser.
Where are the User Account Options web pages located?
From the Road Runner Hawaii Around Town page, click on the menu item entitled Member Services (see illustration below). From there, clicking on the link named User Account Options will take you to the pages that we will cover within.
Once you go to the User Account Options web site, for security reasons, you will need to login with your "Master User" e-mail name and password. Your "Master User" e-mail name is the one pre-assigned to you by Oceanic. For example, Joe Aloha may have a Master User name that looks like alohaj001 (or lastname, first initial, plus three numbers). Every Road Runner subscriber will have one Master User name in this fashion.
Terminology: While reading this tutorial, please do not confuse the Master User e-mail name, with your master user e-mail ADDRESS. For example: - alohaj001 is an example of a Master User e-mail name (or Master User Name)
- alohaj001@hawaii.rr.com is a Master User e-mail ADDRESS.

To begin, login using your Master User e-mail name and corresponding password. If you don't know your password, you will have to call Oceanic. NOTE: if you can't login to this web page, check to see that your browser's proxy server "exceptions" are correct (these settings were updated on 1/2000). Go to the Proxy Server help section to find out how to do this for your browser.

After logging in, you will see the following screen main screen.

Please note: In this example, the user has logged in with his/her Master User e-mail name. (The area next to the words "user name" tells you who you're logged in as. In this case "alohaj001"). In order to use these User Account Option features, you must be logged in as the Master User (sub users are only authorized to change their own password and nothing else).
How do I use these services?
