Dean Karamehmedovic
Dean Karamehmedovic (also affectionately known as Aloha Dean) is a Slovenian who moved to Hawaii in December, 2000. Dean's reverence and passion for his new homeland is undeniable as you look through his Virtual Photography portfolio. He explains, "I have this rare opportunity to live in Honolulu and enjoy the peace of paradise with so many hidden treasured places and beautiful beaches that everybody is dreaming about". Dean runs his VTHawaii.com as a one-man operation and continues to successfully do so since being established in January 2003 . "I was so passionate about working and traveling from island to island and trying to find and take not only the popular, well-known places but hidden, beautiful places that visitors cannot find in a travel guides." In less than a year, his web site featured over 1000 total panos (panoramic scenes). Dean is also a PADI Dive Master and expert underwater photographer using a Sony F717, 10bar housing Époque ES-150DS strobe and Époque DCL-20 WC lens.
